Tofu survivor is doable with some luck but I do not think it was really meant to be beaten. Mutant plants take 21 pistol hits for me but saw videos where they die with 13 hits and seem easier to dodge. Maybe my version, dunno. A trick I noticed with the mutated plants: get close so they stop spitting but not too close so they do not grab you. When they do their whip attack run into them to push them out of the way.
